Restaurant of the Month: The Juice Bar

The Juice Bar, located at 20 S. Centre Street, has been serving up healthy smoothies, juices and snacks in the heart of downtown Merchantville for two and a half years. Co-owners Seth Amoah and Kelli Mouzon work with a smile as they happily provide recommendations to eager new customers and regulars alike. Every client is treated with the utmost care as their orders are taken and food is prepared. 

Seth and Kelli offer options for every kind of dietary need. Vegetarian friendly fares are a specialty with the veggie cheesesteak being the most popular dish on the menu. They explain the most popular juice is the “Flu Shot,” my personal favorite. 

“The Flu Shot is great for this time of year as we battle allergies because it helps boost your immune system,” explained Kelli.

When asked that her favorite was Kelli replied, “I like everything, but my current favorite would have to be the muscle maker,” while Seth prefers the “Mean Green.”

In addition to items featured on the menu every day, The Juice Bar offers a juice cleanse program. These plans are customized to the customer’s goals. The owner, Seth, collaborates with the staff to create individualized plans that conquer everything from unique stomach issues to weight loss, maintaining weight, to sugar concerns. 

“I firmly believe that the ultimate goal for everyone looking to improve their health is education,” says Seth.

“We offer a variety of resources and tools you can use to research your own goals.” He consistently encourages clients to conduct independent inquiry as well because there is a wealth of knowledge at their disposal. They should be aware of any new techniques or ingredients available. 

Remarking on the atmosphere provided by The Juice Bar Kelli announced with a big grin on her face, “It’s like Cheers! Everyone comes together- customers new and old. You reunite with friends and family, but stay for the smoothies.” When asked what their goals are for the future, both Seth and Kelli plan to stay. “We’d would love to continuing nourishing and connecting with the community like they’ve been lucky enough to do for the past two and half years. We’re really grateful that we’ve been so well received by locals.”
