The Property Alliance is always searching for new ways to give back to our hometown of Pennsauken, NJ. On a rainy Monday morning we were able to be the sunshine that Baldwin Early Childhood Learning Center needed and it’s all because of the hardworking community we surround ourselves with. On September 10th, The Property Alliance had the honor of dropping off donations collected over the past month to Baldwin Elementary. Below is a brief list of the successful campaign this year. The Property Alliance has some very exciting renovations getting ready to hit the market. Our expert remodeling team has been hard at work on these THREE NEW HOMES and we’re thrilled to unveil the final product. Our team has gone above and beyond by entirely renovating each bathroom, kitchen and nearly doubling the square footage of each home. Our first home, in lovely Cherry Hill Township, is also the recipient of new windows and HVAC system. Our team has upgraded this home from 1,600 sqft. to a roomy 3,400 sqft. This home offers privacy on its quiet street and large lot (.29 acres). This home will be hitting the market in less than a month. Be looking for our announcement! Our next home, in Oaklyn, has nearly doubled in size as well! Going from a quaint 1,500 sqft. to 3,000 sqft. With the addition of a second floor, it will be a 4 bedroom, 2.5 bath home with a brand new, high-efficiency hot water heater & electrical service panel. Specifics on our third home are still in the works, but we are certain we will be doubling it’s size. The New Jersey HomeSaver Program, administered by the New Jersey Housing and Mortgage Financing Agency, is sponsoring the program by creating solutions to high-interest mortgages held by individuals in Pennsauken. Their services include refinancing, foreclosure avoidance grants, reverse mortgage grants, and a variety of debt management and counseling assistance. To be eligible, “homeowners must first meet specific criteria, such as having a first mortgage loan-to-value (LTV) ratio that is 115 percent or greater, and suffering a financial hardship (such as unemployment or a severe loss of income through no fault of your own) that has caused or will cause you to fall behind on your mortgage payment. You can find out about all of the necessary criteria and get more information on the entire program by visiting NJHomeSaver.com.” For those who do not qualify through the NJ HomeSaver Program, there are plenty of other options as well! HUD offers free services which present customized mortgage solutions to homeowners. Check out HUD’s Certified Housing Counseling for advice and tips on how to reduce your rates, budget information and refinance options. You can also look into “the New Jersey Housing and Mortgage Finance Agency [which] has compiled a list of such agencies in Camden County.
